I like this photograph
:iconpestilence:
Although (apart from the tree trunk) I feel the foreground is not that interesting I stand at the sky, wonderful has a "weather" mystery over it! Will it rain? or is the weather opening, time selection spot on!
:iconbobchrist:
Nice concept, did you blend exposures or use levels?

This is the best photo you've ever taken in my opinion. Baie Mooi!!

Being vague is almost as fun as doing this other thing.

When small men start casting long shadows, it's a sure sign the sun is setting.

In this photo there's the lack of natural flow that most of your photos have, and the light and toning weren't interesting enough... I remember you stating that you were tired of making waterscapes, and I wondered why... Yes, we always like to shoot different stuff, I have lots of portraits in my hard drive that I'll never publish (at least not on my Inebriantia account), but there are certain things where we are better at, and you excel at making waterscapes.

I think that making a striking waterscape photo is incredibly easier than making a striking landscape one, but still the quality level of your waterscapes is only achievable by a few... I feel that you are forcing yourself to publish landscapes, and some of them may not be on par with your other photos.

And what am I trying to say with all this? That you shouldn't force yourself to post landscapes just because people say you have too many waterscapes, or because you feel your photography is "incomplete", because it isn't, and many would just hope they had ONE shot like yours in their life.

Still, obviously, this is a great photograph. :)

Cheers Hougaard.
