Not my usual stuff, but something I like as much as the red-sky dramatic stuff. This tree is about a 30 second drive from home so probably this is probably the winter version of a seasonscape.

I love looking at stuff like this. Not only is it more challenging to take a photo like this, but I also think it probably demands more time to look at, rather than just fave/don't fave before going on to the next image.

It's a tricky composition, there's a lot going on, but overall I think this is really well balanced and arranged. The only thing that's a little....uhm...unsatisfying, is how some of the poles are infront of the background mountain, but it looks pretty much like there was nothing you could do about that...unless you carried a hacksaw in your camera bag

Just looking at it again, and it's only now that I've noticed that there are no clouds in the sky...which just goes to show that if the composition and light are strong enough, then you can get by without them....Something I should tell myself more often, cos we haven't had a cloud here for the last 3 months and so I simply don't bother going out to shoot landscapes. Silly really....
