Not my usual stuff, but something I like as much as the red-sky dramatic stuff. This tree is about a 30 second drive from home so probably this is probably the winter version of a seasonscape.

Lovely comp here mate. (In before EWWW UNEVEN POLARISATION), this is a case where uneven polarization works as well, balances the warms of the LHS of the frame and certainly helps balance a tricky exposure.
I personally love to see such late evening light photos. It's not so full of effects as sunrise/sunset shots but really often they've at least the same impact. And a good photographer has to take care that his gallery is not oversaturated with sunrise/set shots. I'd love to see more stuff like that!
"sweet light" and into late afternoon, are my fave times to shoot...sunrise as well, but here in the mountains..sunrise is all in the shadows so evening is best and I love this type light

Once again, caught a very interesting landscape in beautiful lighting. It assuages my thirst, to a degree, for views with more verticality in them, for a Californian living in flat, flat southeastern Michigan... :]
