How is it that you can get such a crisp image without the noise in that time of day? It looks like afternoon, so I'm guessing low ISO but then you'd have to lower shutter speed as well. Also guessing you used a photoshopped GND (from 2 exposures) to achieve an HDR feel? Though really my main question is "How to achieve sharpness in an image" (behind the lens that is).
I believe that Table Mountain is connected to the mainland... correct me if wrong. One can see the buildings just on the horizon to the left, too. But what it looks like is a mysterious island just offshore, beautiful but ominous and unreachable for some reason (ok, story time in the mind this AM).
I would imagine that there are pathways up to the top of the mountain... are there pics from up there of the surrounding areas? Not necessarily yours, but does that happen often? Seems to me to be a wondrous vantage point.
