omg that's incredible! We had an insane fire out here a few years back (Okanagan 2003) but I missed it. Pictures like this have always made me curious as to what it would be like in person. Though I'm not about to pull an Ansel Adams in order to find out!

yip but the whole town was in chaos...this fg is better than what I would thought I could get. Would have been damn awesome if there was a heli parked though
Amazing shot! Fires are mesmerising aren't they? They sing to us and dance for us like sirens.
We get fires every summer here in Australia and generally in our area too. The only problem i have with fires is the loss of the landscape and people's lives. But the landscape grows back sometimes better than it was before because of the tragedy kind of like humans sometimes.
So i am thankful that no one was hurt here.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm featuring a little part of the deviant community ! Asked few days ago, and requested everyone to show me their 3 favourites photos in their own gallery, and the 3 most popular!
So, here is it.
Follow me if you want to be in the next feature, I'll create a new poll for it soon!
