EDIT : Seems people didn't like the tree on the right, so different comp and slightly different processing.

BETTER? Honest crits please.

a Tree so photogenic you could swear it grew on that spot in that way with the hopes of becoming an iconic spot for landscape photography in South Africa...which it most probably will.

This little guy is atop a massive granite boulder in the Richtersveld National Park which is on the border of Namibia and in the heart of one of the world's most inhospitable and diamond rich areas.

I played around with a set of Lee sunset filters I bought a while back and I really liked the effect, especially considering the boring light.

I have a feeling you will return here one more in the future and capture an epic sunset or something

This is beautiful. I feel sorry for the poor tree, out there in all the dryness alone... But that may be placing my own dislike of deserts on something that is perfectly fine there.

Great location, fantastic tree. I look at it and wonder how the tree could have been separated from the background a bit...but I'm not sure how.
Still, the image really works though, good stuff

Stupid good. Way to start the 'iconic' spot trend. Sunset filter?

Quite different from your usual uploads man. I dig it, not as much saturation, but still I dig all your work :giggle:
