I can't remember who told me that there's no reason to switch from a 40D to a 5D, I've had the debate with many people on DA. I think it's total bullshit.
Processing this shot really showed me the 5D's superiority. The red sky is so smooth, not a speck of noise, That little lighthouse is so damn pin sharp at F20, and so is the rocks at the bottom border. There's not a single pixel of abberation around the lighthouse. Pushing the exposure of the RAW file up or down by a stop does nothing to the qaulity. I can't wait to see what the mk2 will be like. The place is slangkoppunt( snakeheadpoint ).
