Artist's Comments

Many photographers consider these to be the most difficult photos to capture, often requiring such extremities as:

1. Being there
2. Lifting your camera and pointing in the right direction
3. Calculating the correct exposure
4. Pressing the shutter button
5. Downloading the image to your pc

Many have died attempting this, only the bravest and toughest succeed:D

Wilderness, South Africa. [link] was taken fro those cliffs, and this is the beach you can see in the distance.

3 RAW conversions, one for the center of the photo, one for the top and bottom, and one to bring out the mist a bit

I think I would suffer gravely at the hands of criteria number one.

Is it just the lens size, or has that water recessed very far back from the shoreline?

I think I worded that horribly.

What I meant is that the distance between where the water is and where is came up to on the beach is fairly large. I guess that's what happens when the beach is flat rather than sloping.
