Awesome! I heard there's massive backlogs on stock, but I guess England gets a bit more than the foreigners?

you're probably right......theres not a lot of things left that we make that are quality so you cant blame us for hanging on to them!!.....i do think lee could be making a lot more money if they could only up their production a little ...its very frustrating...

Yip, I also think that times in photography amongst hobbyists have hit a massive boom. Where a year ago there were maybe 5 people in S.A with Lee sets, I'm referring about 3 people a month to the distributor here or to RW for a david noton kit.

Its perfectly nice, but also like a whole load of stuff on this site and is absolutely indistinguishable from them, although perhaps this was just a test shot?

Yeah test shot, I agree half and half. I have a love for simplicity and I don't always wan't such dynamic interest in an image if you know what I'm saying?

yeah sure simplicity is great, but you have to absolutely nail the composition then, and I dont think this does really.

10 stops of solid nd and 4 stops of gnd! I don't really know Singh Ray but from what I've heard it has a more magenta cast where Lee has a subtle brown-ish cast. I'd love a reverse grad, but Singh Ray doesn't ship outside the U.S

Could work out to buy it for you and ship it that way. Might be kinda much on the shipping though small package...

Just not sure which gnds to pick up...know I need a 3stop rgnd so maybe just splurge on all the SR. ::shrugs::

The best value for money is definitely the David Noton chasing light kit. You get about $700-$900 worth of stuff for $450. It has the most commonly used grads and 3 stop solid grad, filter system, pouch, cloth. Lee has massive backlogs on stock though. You'll prob wait a good 2-3 months, simply for that reason SR might be a better bet

Apart from that crazy sloping horizon, this is really nice. Love the cool tones with the hint of warmth in the sky.
