you're probably right......theres not a lot of things left that we make that are quality so you cant blame us for hanging on to them!!.....i do think lee could be making a lot more money if they could only up their production a little ...its very frustrating...
Yip, I also think that times in photography amongst hobbyists have hit a massive boom. Where a year ago there were maybe 5 people in S.A with Lee sets, I'm referring about 3 people a month to the distributor here or to RW for a david noton kit.
10 stops of solid nd and 4 stops of gnd! I don't really know Singh Ray but from what I've heard it has a more magenta cast where Lee has a subtle brown-ish cast. I'd love a reverse grad, but Singh Ray doesn't ship outside the U.S
The best value for money is definitely the David Noton chasing light kit. You get about $700-$900 worth of stuff for $450. It has the most commonly used grads and 3 stop solid grad, filter system, pouch, cloth. Lee has massive backlogs on stock though. You'll prob wait a good 2-3 months, simply for that reason SR might be a better bet
